So i thought i'd blog about something a little less angry today. I went to the Morrissey a little bit ago and i absolutely fell in love with the interior. When we walked by, it wasn't even on the on the list of places to hit up but it somehow caught my eye. The inside has knights armor, its lit with a huge chandeliers as well as some candle sticks with the wax all melted down the sides. Its a little bit of a mix of medieval&80's style LOL, they have records and old turn tables too. Its a funny place, but i just love it so much. The bartender was so nice and talkative, he was talking to the guy beside us about good places to eat in Vancouver. You don't see that too often. I just thought i'd share because i totally love this place. It's so casual and a great place to just hang out and talk, they have these great little benches that are padded! It's definitely not a place to dance, but for a place just to hang out and drink it's great!

I know I haven't blogged in a while but today was my first day of class and we already have been given lots of work. The teacher is OMG so amazing, she is this sweet old lady that has so much patience. She really just brightens up your day! Like I said, its only been the first day and we have ALREADY finished a work book. I know! Its crazy! But it's not too difficult, its just going to be time consuming. But should be all worth it! I have had two semesters off and I was looking forward to school, its refreshing to do something different! The commute is so great, so much faster and easier than going to Lanagra. Not to mention, the boys here are ALOT hotter ;) Going to school this morning, I purposely got there early to scope out where to go and I was lost for a bit... STUDENTS TAKE ELEVATORS. I was in awe, at Langara you get glared at if you use the elevator because its with people who are disabled but here we TAKE THE ELEVATOR. Thats why I walked around aimlessly looking for the sixth floor until I realized others taking it LOLCAT Oh yeah, VCC is hella ghetto. Its definitely not as nice as Langara, the labs at langara are SO NICE and so clean but here everything looks worn down and kinda nasty. Especially them washrooms! Its dark and looks like its haunted and its just not my fav place to be. From art school, being an artsy fartsy, free willy playing in the sand using your imagination to sitting on the computer all day doing practical work is definitely a change but it feels pretty good  |
